Roxy was a sweet angel that we were blessed to meet the day after Thanksgiving in 2006. She was belly up, ready for love within seconds of meeting us, and it was clear she was ready for us to take her home! Roxy’s first night with her new mommy, she spooned on the couch and watched the movie Beaches! Interestingly enough, the beach ended up being Roxy’s favorite place to go and we were lucky enough to live in Chicago a couple blocks away from Lake Michigan in her younger years, where she was always thrilled to run and play. When we moved to Oregon, she was thrilled to see the ocean! Over the years, she always loved running along the shore and playing chicken with the tide. We’ll always feel like our girl is with us every time we are on a beach.
A donation was made in Roxy's memory and the memorial was created on November 4, 2017.
Messages From Friends and Family
Ann rescued Roxy and gave her a safe and loving home when the little dog was already a "senior canine". Roxy had a sweet and loyal temperament. She gave much joy and warm companionship to Ann for a surprising number of her golden years.
